Commercial Loan Officer I

Job Summary
Manage an individual loan portfolio by maintaining ongoing business relationships with present customers to drive cross-selling opportunities and solicit new business from prospective clients. Achieve assigned annual sales objectives while making outside calls, presenting to loan committees, and assisting customers with deposit, loan, and specialized service inquiries. Monitor loan repayment activities and sales performance against targets, providing timely sales information for performance reports. Maintain accurate records of customer service calls and meetings while representing the bank in public relations and community activities. Requires a B.S. or B.A. degree, three years of related experience, and proficiency in commercial banking products and policies.
Required Qualifications
- A B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field
- specialized commercial banking education and/or training
- Must demonstrate strong communication skills
- proficient analytical and mathematics skills
- proficient interpersonal relations, communicative, and sales skills
- a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all bank commercial products and services
- a working knowledge of bank operating policies and procedures which impact commercial lending
- proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- A minimum of three (3) years' experience in related positions
