Job Summary
Commercial Loan Officer to manage an existing loan portfolio and actively promote new commercial loans and bank product opportunities within current and new prospects. Responsibilities include maintaining and updating financial/covenant information, evaluating credit conditions and collateral, understanding collateral-related legal requirements, making frequent outside calls to clients, and representing the bank and its values to customers and professional groups. Requires a Bachelor's degree and extensive commercial lending experience; onsite role in Uvalde, TX with relocation assistance possible.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (accounting, finance, and/or business) and 10+ years in commercial lending experience are preferred
- Proficiency with the bank’s loan and credit underwriting systems
- Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong, accurate credit underwriting with financial and cash flow analytical skills
- Ability to work independently, multitask, adapt, prioritize, and think and act proactively
Desired Qualifications
