Job Summary
Commercial Loan Officer role in Lansing area bank. Build and manage relationships with commercial clients across Lansing and surrounding communities; originate Commercial & Industrial (C&I), Commercial Real Estate (CRE), and SBA loans; manage an existing portfolio while expanding market presence; provide a full suite of banking products and services and structure credit opportunities to meet client needs. Candidates should have commercial credit training and commercial banking experience, with strong relationship-building, business development, and credit presentation skills. Hybrid work option available for qualifying candidates within roughly an hour of the market.
Required Qualifications
- Commercial credit training
- Commercial banking experience
- Experience with commercial lending, including C&I, CRE, and/or SBA lending
- Strong relationship-building and business development skills
- Ability to assess, structure, and present commercial credit opportunities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Desire to work in a collaborative, relationship-focused banking environment
