Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist (Remote - CA, OR, WA, ID)

Job Summary
Prepare loan documentation for all commercial loan types including commercial real estate, lines of credit, aircraft, preferred mortgages, SBA, Express, and 504s for new loans, renewals, and modifications. Ensure documents comply with credit approval terms, bank policies, and local, state, and federal regulatory guidelines using LaserPro software. Coordinate daily activities to meet deadlines and serve as the escalation point for team members regarding documentation issues. Communicate with underwriters, loan officers, and branch staff to gather necessary information. Assist in training team members on software and templates while participating in required compliance training. This role supports Banner Bank's lending operations across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and California, requiring 0 to 2 years of experience with loan documents.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma: General Education
- 0 to 2 years of experience with loan documents, preferably including complex documents
- Knowledge of all aspects of commercial non-complex loans, departmental functions, loan database software and Microsoft Office
- Possess understanding of loan documentation structure requirements with ability to review credit approvals, organizational documents among other due diligence related documents to ensure adherence with bank's lending policy/procedures and regulatory requirements
- Possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with ability to write clearly and informatively, editing for spelling, grammar and accuracy
- Proven detail orientated with excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to efficiently organize heavy workloads in a deadline-driven environment with frequent changes in priorities and an emphasis on customer service and teamwork
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
