Commercial Loan Closing Specialist I

Job Summary
Validate loan document execution prior to funding, perform due diligence, and administer post-closing activities for commercial loans. Review reports for accuracy against bank policy and regulatory requirements, identify discrepancies, and facilitate resolution with corrective actions. Track outstanding lender packages, prepare third-party payments, and deliver documents to municipalities for lien perfection. Establish tickers for trailing items, ensure receipt of final title opinions and recorded deeds, organize scanned files, and update status queues. Monitor exception reports and maintain accurate records. Requires 1+ year of commercial loan experience and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Required Qualifications
- 1 or more years of experience in a related role working with commercial loan products, structures and/or documentation
- High school diploma or GED
- Advanced skills in Computer and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of financial covenants, business entities, and standard loan products
- Able to read, analyze and interpret commercial loan documents
- Able to perform accurate calculations and transactions
- Able to manage and organize a high volume of documents
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience using relevant banking and document storage software applications
