Job Summary
Commercial Loan Closer responsible for preparing, reviewing, and facilitating the closing of commercial loans (CRE, Construction, C&I, SBA). Duties include preparing loan documentation, coordinating with legal counsel and borrowers, verifying closing requirements, reviewing title and appraisals, ensuring regulatory and bank policy compliance, managing closing timelines, performing due diligence, and addressing issues to prevent delays. Requires collaboration with loan officers, credit/commercial teams, and third parties; strong written/verbal communication and detail-oriented, fast-paced environment skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Two years of experience in commercial loan closing or relevant work experience in a legal, lending or banking environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail; multi-tasking

- Paralegal experience or related legal background (preferred)
- Two years of experience in commercial loan closing or relevant work experience in a legal, lending or banking environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
