Job Summary
Coordinate all aspects of loan closings by managing correspondence with attorneys, appraisers, and outside professionals to maintain deadlines. Organize and maintain customer files to support Relationship Banker/Managers in managing portfolios, while assimilating, filing, and distributing financial and collateral documentation. Serve as a client relationship representative by listening, researching, and advising customers, and screen and route incoming calls and visitors for the commercial/market relationship team. Open new accounts when necessary and assist with daily customer contact and servicing. Maintain current knowledge of bank products and services to recommend and implement policy changes, while cross-selling products to strengthen community awareness. This role operates in a dynamic, relationship-driven banking environment with frequent direct client contact and occasional travel.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum of three to five years experience in a commercial/business lending support role
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Understanding of underlying implications of loans for the customer and Origin Bank
- Ability to regularly sit and talk or hear
- Ability to frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Ability to occasionally stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
