Job Summary
Experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney sought for Baton Rouge office on a partnership-track. The role involves handling depositions, drafting and arguing motions, responding to discovery, and comprehensive trial preparation. Candidates should be able to independently manage a full caseload, regularly appear in court, conduct depositions, and maintain direct client communication. Required competencies include strong research, writing, advocacy, and the ability to develop client and referral relationships. Must have excellent academic credentials and be in good standing with the Louisiana State Bar.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) years’ commercial litigation experience
- Experience in taking depositions, writing motions, and responding to discovery
- Ability to interact directly with clients and develop client/referral relationships
- Ability to independently manage a caseload from beginning to end, handle court appearances and depositions
- Experience with electronic discovery platforms such as Relativity
- Strong research, writing, communication, and advocacy skills
- In good standing with the Louisiana State Bar
