Commercial Lines Quality Assurance Senior Specialist (hybrid/remote)

Job Summary
Conduct complex quality audits and reviews of commercial, specialty, and high-exposure underwriting files to evaluate risk selection, pricing adequacy, and guideline adherence. Identify trends, systematic issues, and root causes impacting underwriting quality, then analyze results to prepare findings and recommendations for leadership. Lead calibration efforts to ensure consistency in audit methodology and partner with underwriting teams to develop corrective action plans and process improvements. Mentor Quality Audit Specialists, develop training materials, and assist in enhancing QA processes, tools, and reporting dashboards to support decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of Commercial Lines underwriting, underwriting quality assurance, audit or related insurance experience
- Working knowledge of underwriting principles, risk evaluation, policy language, authority structures and operational workflows
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to communicate findings and feedback professionally and effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and underwriting systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Advanced commercial lines or specialty underwriting experience
- Knowledge of underwriting operations, insurance processes, or applicable regulatory requirements
- Experience working cross-functionally with operational and business leadership teams
- Experience with reporting and data analysis tools
