Job Summary
Commercial Lines Practice Leader with responsibility for strategic oversight of CL offerings, implementation, new business development, account retention, and mentoring CL staff in HUB Texas. Drive growth through carrier/vendor relationship management, cross-department collaboration, and development of sales/marketing strategies to strengthen HUB’s CL position. Lead and influence regional planning with leadership teams, integrate sales, service, underwriting analytics, and compliance, and champion staff development. Engage in market-facing activities, participate in executive discussions, and travel as needed to nurture client relationships and expand services, including coordinating with marketing and CSO. Must possess deep knowledge of CL products and service differentiation and be prepared to drive long-term, profitable client relationships while supporting budgetary targets and potential acquisitions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 10-15 years progressive Commercial Lines experience in an agency, brokerage or consulting firm
- Demonstrated track record as a Client Service/Account Executive or Team Leader in account management
- Mentoring and managing staff experience
- Ability to develop and implement strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and budget management
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Licensing or certifications as required by regulatory authorities for insurance roles
