Job Summary
Commercial Lines P&C Broker responsible for assisting in achieving incremental sales goals, developing relationships with insurance agents, brokers, and carriers, examining risk factors from documents, underwriting risks, quoting, and binding, processing new business efficiently, and leveraging mentorship to grow a book of business. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent industry experience) and a valid P&C license; 0-5 years of experience; strong communication, analytical, and client relationship skills; proficiency with MS Office; ability to interact with producers, agents, and carriers and to review and underwrite risks, quotes, and binders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent industry experience
- Valid P&C license
- 0-5 years' experience in a similar position
- Exceptional MS Office Suite skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
