Job Summary
Manage agency relationships and underwriting duties within an assigned Kentucky territory, including reviewing applications, assessing risks, and determining reinsurance needs. Identify and recruit new agencies while training staff, establishing annual plans, and facilitating negotiations to secure business. Oversee portfolio performance by analyzing financial metrics, monitoring production targets, and ensuring profitable business growth through proper pricing and risk selection. Travel 35% to visit field centers and maintain liaison with independent agents.
Required Qualifications
- More than 10 years related experience and/or training
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent
- Equivalent combination of education and related experience/training
- A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in the United States
- No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position
- Must be able to work legally in the United States
- Must be available for 35% travel
- Must reside within the state of Kentucky
