Job Summary
Experienced Commercial Lines CSR responsible for maintaining client relationships, issuing certificates of insurance and EPI’s, quoting, payments, handling claims, and supporting renewal and new business processes; collaborates with Producer, mentors staff, and performs administrative duties; requires NC insurance license and at least two years of commercial lines experience; strong communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and computer skills including Word, Excel, AMS360.
Required Qualifications
- Hold the insurance license required by the State of NC
- minimum of two years commercial lines insurance account management experience
- strong knowledge of insurance products, coverages, rating and underwriting procedures
- strong customer focus and excellent phone manner; strong written and verbal communication skills
- pleasant demeanor and ability to contribute to a positive work environment
- excellent math and reading skills for typical calculations and interpreting policy language
- ability to tactfully handle difficult customer phone calls and solve complex problems without direct supervision
- strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking, and follow up skills
- desire to learn and participate in education / professional development opportunities
- technology proficiency including Word and Excel; knowledge of agency management systems (Vertafore AMS360 preferable)
