Commercial Lines Associate Underwriter/Underwriter Trainee

Screen applications for missing information, contact agencies to obtain necessary data, and evaluate the acceptability of new and renewal business. Revise TAS worksheets, request and evaluate loss runs and driver lists, and initiate cancellation notices. Review loss activity, screen loss control reports, and verify findings against underwriting file information. Prepare quote proposals, issue endorsements, and import reports into OnBase. Underwrite designated small new non-flow and regional renewal business while managing diary items and following up on outstanding loss control recommendations. Form relationships with agencies and ensure new business files are in order.
