Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager

Job Summary
Support clients with coverage placement renewals, claims coordination, policy analysis, and ongoing service needs while collaborating with carriers and underwriters to secure appropriate coverage solutions. Maintain accurate documentation in agency management systems such as AMS360 EPIC, ensure compliance with internal procedures and carrier requirements, and track service requests for timely completion. Assist in identifying coverage gaps and risk mitigation strategies, partner with internal teams on new business submissions, and contribute to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency. This on-site role in San Antonio requires a Property & Casualty license obtainable within six months and supports Alera Group's mission to help businesses protect assets and manage risk.
Required Qualifications
- Two or more years of data entry administrative or related experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience managing multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Strong client service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently
- Active State Property & Casualty License
- Ability to obtain required licensure within 6 months of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in employee benefits TPA organizations COBRA or claims processing
- Familiarity with benefits administration systems and data platforms
- Experience handling client service interactions across phone and digital channels
