Job Summary
Commercial Lines Account Manager needed to handle a dedicated book of business in Putnam, CT. In-office role reporting to the agency; responsibilities include responding to client inquiries by phone, email, or in-person regarding policies, coverages, billing, and claims; processing policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, and renewals; providing quotes/remarketting existing policies; building and maintaining client relationships through professional, friendly service; reviewing coverage and policy details for proper protection; identifying cross-sell opportunities and referring to producers; maintaining accurate client records in the agency management system; assisting with policy renewals by reviewing accounts for coverage needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree or Equivalent
- Excellent working knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro and Internet Explorer
- Ability to learn new technology and software
- Ability to analyze work and seek assistance as needed
- Respond promptly to departmental needs and provide quality service
- Timely completion and accuracy in tasks
