Job Summary
Develop strong relationships with Commercial Lines Insurance clients and insurance company underwriters while supporting large and complex accounts. Review all insurance applications, policies, endorsements, cancellations, and audits for accuracy, maintaining detailed documentation for client transactions. Investigate matters of significance using independent judgment and manage the full renewal process, including preparing applications to carriers, negotiating with underwriters, and comparing quotes. Assist Sales Executives in identifying new business opportunities by adding coverage lines and recommending value-added services. Request referrals and cultivate relationships with new customers, with potential supervision of Account Managers or Assistants. Requires an active Property & Casualty license and 2-3 years of commercial lines experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License as required by respective state, or the ability to obtain one with 60 days from date of hire
- Knowledge of commercial insurance coverage
- Minimum 2-3 years' Commercial Lines middle market account management experience with a broker
