Job Summary
Prepare applications for submission with underwriting information provided by producers, manage daily ongoing relationships with Commercial Lines Managers regarding deadlines and projects, and work with service staff to meet timelines. Create proposal booklets and quotations under the direction of the Account Executive, check policies against submissions, and issue auto ID cards. Follow up with markets for quotations, verify endorsements against Account Executive requests, and obtain client sign-off on binders. Requires an active Property & Casualty license, 3+ years of commercial lines experience, and proficiency in carrier rating software and Microsoft Office. Hybrid schedule in Nottingham or Cambridge, MD, with compensation of $45k-$65k plus paid license renewal and continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- 3 + years experience with working a small commercial lines book of business
- Active Property &Casualty license
- Must have strong computer software and in using Microsoft Office i.e. Excel, Word
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills
- Must have experience with carrier rating software
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with the AMS 360 is highly preferred
