Job Summary
Commercial Lines Account Manager at an independent insurance agency in York, PA, handling a book of large, complex commercial accounts across industries (manufacturing, construction, nonprofit, professional services, cyber liability). Responsibilities include servicing accounts, preparing COIs and policy documentation, managing renewals and endorsements, coordinating with carriers/underwriters, reviewing policy details for accuracy, finalizing bound coverage, maintaining client records, and responding to client inquiries. Requires 3+ years of commercial insurance experience, active P&C license, and familiarity with mid-market coverage and agency systems. Hybrid role with three days in-office and two remote; base salary up to $80k with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial insurance experience in independent insurance agency or broker environment
- Active Property and Casualty (P&C) license
- Experience servicing commercial lines accounts and renewals
- Experience supporting middle-market or complex commercial accounts
- Knowledge of general liability, commercial property, workers compensation, commercial auto, professional liability, cyber liability, excess liability
- Experience with carriers and underwriters
- Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office
