Job Summary
Design and implement appropriate insurance programs for clients while maintaining knowledge of carrier developments and federal/state laws. Negotiate rate terms and conditions with carriers, generate premium allocations, and prepare proposals, summaries, and applications for client and carrier submission. Provide technical support to producers regarding coverage, proposals, and suspense items, then follow up to ensure timely responses and renew policies by agency standards. Educate clients on audit procedures and exclusions, manage workflow priorities to ensure efficient transaction processing, and utilize advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency for premium allocation.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance experience
- Active General Lines or Property & Casualty License
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Desired Qualifications
- CISR and/or CIC
- Applied Epic experience
- knowledge of similar Account Management System (AMS)
