Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary
Manage day-to-day policy changes, invoice handling, and EPIC documentation to deliver seamless concierge service to clients and internal stakeholders. Partner with producers on new business, renewals, and marketing strategies while prioritizing account retention and developing new account plans through risk evaluation and coverage recommendations. Act as a consultant to analyze insurance plans, negotiate with underwriters, and resolve complex claims or billing issues. Initiate relationships with prospective clients, attend industry meetings, and stay abreast of market changes to identify cross-selling opportunities. Ensure data accuracy in agency management systems and prepare renewal reviews 90 days out.
Required Qualifications
- Property & Casualty License
- 2-4 years of previous insurance account management experience
- Sound knowledge of rating procedures, coverage, and insurance industry operations
- Full knowledge of insurance markets
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, managers, clients, and insurance companies
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Employment contingent upon successful completion of a background check
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Epic/Applied Agency Software
