Job Summary
Commercial Lines Account Executive responsible for servicing and marketing commercial clients, owning the full marketing cycle from underwriting submissions to quote comparison and negotiating policy terms. Manage day-to-day client relationships, renewals on a 120-day timeline, and ensure accurate documentation and processing. Coordinate with team members to design and implement client insurance programs, prepare certificates of insurance and auto ID cards, and handle endorsements and policy changes within the agency management system. Requires NJ Property & Casualty license and may involve collaboration with the team leader for client retention. Insurance designations (ARM, CIC, CPCU) are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Property & Casualty insurance license (required)
- College degree or demonstrated equivalent work experience
- Experience with underwriting submissions, quotes analysis, and coverage negotiations
- Knowledge of agency management systems (Applied Systems or Applied Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and client-relations skills
- Ability to manage 120-day renewal timelines and multiple timelines
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
