Job Summary
Examine shipping documents against the terms of complex Commercial Letters of Credit, provide 2nd check and release payments, and process trade payments and loans within SLA. Responsible for monitoring workflow queues, assigning and reviewing transactions, ensuring end-to-end processing within SLA, analyzing processes for efficiency improvements, reviewing NIL errors and sanctions/AML miss-outs, and building relationships with management and internal stakeholders. Requires strong knowledge of UCP 600 and ISBP, OFAC compliance, and AML, plus excellent written/verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills; proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project). Preferred qualifications include CDCS, Tableau, and Alteryx.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Examiner of Commercial Letters of Credit Documents
- Strong Knowledge of UCP 600, ISBP, Boycott regulations, OFAC compliance, and Anti-Money Laundering
- Experience working with various stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong analytical ability with large data sets
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project
