Job Summary
Develop new commercial and agricultural lending relationships through proactive business development and structure loan opportunities that meet customer needs while maintaining appropriate risk standards. Perform financial analysis and underwrite commercial credit requests, then present recommendations to the approval authority. Monitor portfolio performance to identify developing credit concerns and cross-sell treasury management, deposit, and other banking services. Represent the bank within the community through civic organizations, networking events, and professional associations while maintaining a high level of customer service via timely responses and local decision-making. Stay current on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and local market conditions, conducting all duties in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and bank policies.
Required Qualifications
- Five or more years of commercial lending experience
- Demonstrated success in developing new commercial business relationships
- Strong knowledge of commercial credit underwriting and financial statement analysis
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the credit and operations teams
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Agriculture, or a related field
- Equivalent banking experience
