Job Summary
Commercial Lending Officer responsible for expanding the bank's loan portfolio by developing new business opportunities and cultivating client relationships. Duties include conducting in-depth credit analysis and underwriting loan applications to adhere to credit policies and risk management guidelines, designing loan structures to meet client needs and bank objectives, maintaining client relationships with periodic reviews, ensuring regulatory compliance, monitoring loan portfolio performance, preparing documentation, and collaborating with risk management, compliance, and operations to ensure seamless loan processing and servicing. Requires strong marketing and business development capabilities, experience originating term loans on commercial real estate (notably multi-family), and in-depth knowledge of banking regulations and credit policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Five+ years of proven commercial real estate lending experience
- Strong marketing and business development experience with a proven track record of originating term loans on commercial multi-family real estate properties
- Commercial real estate market knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with people
