Job Summary
The Commercial Lender at Sage Credit Union will develop and maintain relationships with business members, evaluate loan applications and financial documentation, structure and negotiate loan terms, and manage a portfolio of loans. The role requires strong analytical and decision-making skills, a solid understanding of financial statements, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field, along with experience in a financial institution or commercial lending.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Experience in a financial institution or credit program
- Strong analytical, decision making, and complex problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven organization, prioritization, and accuracy in work
Desired Qualifications
- Experience or training in commercial lending or the equivalent
- Knowledge and understanding of financial statements, tax returns, credit analysis, and risk management
- Proficient in negotiating loan terms and conditions
