Job Summary
Account Manager for Monarch Landscape Companies within Northwest Landscape Services: manage daily site operations in an assigned territory to ensure high-quality service, retain clients and employees, optimize crew productivity, and uphold safety standards. Responsibilities include serving as client point-of-contact, conducting site walk-throughs, coordinating with production staff to meet contract specifications and budgets, communicating tasks to production teams, staffing and labor planning, approving timecards, analyzing cost reports and budget variances, monitoring site quality and identifying maintenance or upgrade opportunities, proposing and tracking minor extra work, coordinating with Project Manager on client communications for large projects, achieving annual sales goals, maintaining CRM records, and enforcing safety training and site safety. Supervises 15–20 employees, provides coaching and performance documentation, and promotes adherence to company policies. Strong leadership, client-relations, and bilingual-communication skills (English/Spanish) are highly valued; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred and several licenses/certifications may be required within specified timeframes. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Landscape Architecture or Horticulture preferred
- Equivalent work experience
- At least 7 years related work experience
- Valid driver license issued by the state where employed
- Commercial Pesticide Applicators License, or ability to obtain within 1 year
- Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) or ability to obtain within 1 year
- Strong relationship building and customer relations skills
- Strong management and leadership skills
- Experience with commercial property managers a plus
- Effective oral and written communication
- Ability to operate commercial landscape equipment and tools
- Understanding of irrigation repairs and controller monitoring
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills
- Basic Excel, Word and Outlook
- English reading/writing/speaking
- Ability to read and translate documents (Spanish)
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
Desired Qualifications
