Job Summary
Commercial Kitchen Service Technician on-site role focused on servicing and repairing commercial cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and related equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment; reading diagrams and schematics; communicating with manufacturers for part identification; installing parts on-site; promoting additional services; and maintaining accurate work orders, time reporting, receipts, and inventory. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of technical experience in refrigeration/appliance/kitchen equipment/HVAC or related military service, valid driver’s license, and willingness to participate in on-call rotation including nights/weekends; occasional travel may be required. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or relevant military service
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record
- Willingness to be involved with on-call rotation including nights and weekends
- Availability for occasional overnight travel as assigned
- Preferred Qualifications: Relevant technical training, licenses, and/or certifications (i.e. EPA, CFESA)
