Job Summary
Senior Service Technician in Austin, TX performs advanced diagnostics, complex repairs and commissioning of commercial kitchen equipment, serves as a technical escalation resource, and provides mentorship to junior technicians. Responsible for preventative maintenance, safety and compliance, and collaboration with multi-unit accounts, with up to 25% travel and on-call rotations nights and weekends. Requires EPA certification or Type II, strong gas/electrical/refrigeration knowledge, and proven troubleshooting ability within field service.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial kitchen equipment service experience
- Strong knowledge of gas systems, electrical diagnostics, and refrigeration cycles
- EPA Universal Certification or Type II ( required)
- Advanced troubleshooting skills across mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75+pounds and work in high-heat or refrigerated environments
