Job Summary
Compensation Associate in Global Banking responsible for developing and executing JPMorgan Chase's compensation strategies for assigned client areas. Includes providing compensation consulting to business leaders, performing complex analyses, creating competitive offer packages for strategic hires, reviewing and approving offers for governance compliance, leading cross-functional compensation projects with significant strategic/financial impact, assessing market pay practices, translating governance requirements into clear guidance for clients, and leveraging firm-wide resources to ensure consistent outcomes across lines of business. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years HR/compensation experience, advanced MS Excel skills, strong analytical and collaboration abilities, and demonstrated planning and project-management capability. Authorized to work in the United States with no immigration sponsorship offered.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years relative HR and/or compensation experience
- Advanced MS Excel skills required
- Well-developed analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and to cultivate and sustain strong partnerships with internal and external clients and colleagues
- Strong planning and project management skills
- Ability to drive business goals through HR / Compensation strategies and to address issues / devise solutions with creativity and innovation
- Ability to drive and sustain operational excellence and to develop controls
