Job Summary
Analyst in APAC Subsidiary Banking Business Management to support strategic and tactical initiatives, governance, and reporting across multiple dimensions. Responsible for producing presentations, analyses and supporting materials for senior management; assisting with project management, sales/management reporting, and ad-hoc requests; creating and maintaining financial models and analyses; conducting in-depth analyses to identify root causes; and driving process improvements through dashboarding and automation (e.g., Alteryx). The role requires collaboration across geographies, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or other related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or business management roles in the financial services industry, with APAC regional exposure
- Strong technical and analytical skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and macros with extensive experience in navigating multiple data sets and synthesize into cohesive presentation and recommendations
- Ability to comprehend complex concepts and issues quickly with a curious mindset to dig for the answers, and maintain composure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Team oriented, critical thinker who anticipates questions from internal clients and senior management
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Tableau, Alteryx and knowledge of data visualization tools such as Qliksense
- Corporate banking experience
- Able to quickly shift gears and work on projects of varying nature with individuals across different regions, levels and functions
