Job Summary
US lead for the Corporate and Investment Bank Recovery and Resolution Team responsible for preparing resolution inputs for bank holding company and insured depository institution subsidiary; lead US resolution policy analysis and advocacy; manage fast-paced regulatory deliverables; engage with senior management and present updates; develop BAU operating models; lead CIB Working Group meetings; coordinate with line of business teams and corporate functions to deliver CIB components of the firm's resolution plans in line with supervisory expectations; represent the Firm’s advocacy position on resolution-related matters with policymakers and trade associations; require strong communication and presentation skills and ability to manage complex issues and risks across US, UK, and EU regulatory frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience working with US regulations in the financial services sector
- Deep expertise in US, UK and EU resolution planning requirements
- Experience in policy advocacy with US Regulatory Agencies, or direct work experience in a US Regulatory Agency
- Experience in managing significant projects at globally active financial institutions and an ability to drive deadlines, manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment and to deliver in a timely matter
- Team management experience, including the ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
- Proven track record of setting clear objectives, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture
- Self-motivated with a high degree of self-reliance, the ability to work autonomously
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively, foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders and to manage senior management communications
- Experience in delivering presentations, along with strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to articulate complex issues concisely and influence stakeholders
