Job Summary
Associate in APAC Wholesale Lending Services Middle Office focused on coordinating syndicated loan transactions and supporting primary/secondary loan trading. Draft and manage NDAs, oversee information flow, prepare/coordinate LMA/LSTA trade documentation and settlements, monitor agency deal pipeline, review documentation for feasibility, collaborate with deal originators and counsel, verify Conditions Precedent with counsel, manage loan transfers and covenants, and participate in regional/global projects to drive efficiency and controls. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in a financial institution (2+ years in loans documentation/middle office); strong communication, attention to detail, problem-solving, initiative, and proficiency with MS Office. Preference for experience with trade settlement platforms (e.g., Clearpar), LMA/APLMA documentation, LoanIQ, Tableau/Alteryx, and familiarity with Australia/Japan markets; Japanese language ability (JLPT N1) is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a financial institution, with at least 2 years in loans documentations/middle office
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong attention to detail and a control-oriented mindset
- Proven decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills
- Initiative to escalate issues appropriately
- Proactive self-starter with dependable, timely, and accurate support delivery
- Flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly changing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and web-based technology
