Job Summary
Lead and participate in audit engagements from planning to reporting, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables. Identify emerging control issues and report them promptly to management and stakeholders while protecting information confidentiality. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, business management, control groups, external auditors, and regulators to maintain independence. Finalize audit findings, provide recommendations to strengthen internal controls, and communicate opportunities for improvement. Implement continuous auditing programs, monitor key metrics, and manage teams by reviewing work and providing constructive feedback. Stay current with industry and regulatory changes, champion a culture of innovation through automation, and follow firm principles. Requires 7+ years of experience, CPA/CIA preferred, with willingness to travel.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of internal or external auditing or relevant business experience
- Bachelor's degree or relevant financial services experience
- Experience with internal audit methodology and audit delivery
- Solid understanding of internal control concepts and risk evaluation
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- Strong analytical skills for assessing internal control weaknesses
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and effective under pressure
- Flexible and able to multitask in a changing environment
- Willing to travel as needed
Desired Qualifications
- CPA, CIA, and/or advanced degree in Finance or Accounting
- Experience partnering with senior business and control partners
- Interest in learning and embracing innovative technologies
