Job Summary
Commercial Insurance Producer sought at an Independent Agency to develop and grow a book of commercial lines business across new client acquisitions and existing client opportunities. Responsibilities include prospecting via networking, referrals, and direct outreach; managing the full sales lifecycle (quoting, binding, renewals); maintaining relationships with multiple carriers and underwriting partners; analyzing client risk exposures and recommending appropriate coverage; reviewing existing policies for improvements and cross-selling; and maintaining client records in Applied Epic or similar agency management systems. Requires an active P&C license, 10+ years of commercial insurance sales/production experience, a proven ability to build and manage a book of business, experience in an independent agency environment, experience placing business with multiple carriers, and proficiency with Applied Epic or similar systems.
Required Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License
- 10+ years of commercial insurance sales/production experience
- Proven track record of building and managing a book of business (new business development required)
- Experience in an independent insurance agency environment
- Experience placing business with multiple carriers
- Proficiency with Applied Epic or similar agency management systems
