Job Summary
Manage a book of commercial lines accounts by responding to client calls regarding policy and coverage questions, consulting on policy changes and risk management concerns, and providing timely, professional day-to-day service. Research and compile answers to client inquiries while identifying, compiling, and managing information for account renewals. Market and quote new business and renewals to obtain competitive coverage and cost ratios, leveraging experience with multiple carrier underwriters and online rating portals. Apply a holistic, consultative approach to customer service with a minimum of three years in the insurance industry servicing small to medium commercial accounts.
Required Qualifications
- Min of 3 years of insurance industry experience related to servicing small to medium commercial accounts
- Property and Casualty license
- Knowledge of Insurance and/or Brokerage business
- Technical knowledge of product area or industry
- Ability to provide consultation and expert advice to management on risk management issues
- Knowledge of computer software packages, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- CIC, CPCU, or other insurance designations
