Job Summary
Take incoming calls from new and existing clients seeking insurance quotes or policy changes. Research and develop relationships with prospective clients while setting up meetings via telephone and face-to-face. Prepare and present proposals, and maintain current knowledge of insurance product developments through continuing education. Serve as a bilingual (French/English) commercial broker with at least one year of general insurance experience. Work full-time Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- at least 1 years' worth of recent customer service experience
- commercial broker experience
- commercial broker license CAIB 1, 2, 3
- Drive and initiative
- Solid interpersonal skills (a genuine "people person")
- Excellent listening and communicating skills
- A high level of self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Master of efficiency and organization
- Ability to work under deadlines
- Commitment to continuing education (insurance courses and seminars)
- Fluent French/English bilingualism: written and spoken
- At least 1 year of previous general insurance experience
