Job Summary
Proactively prospect business owners, individuals, and partners to generate new Property & Casualty sales opportunities through direct outreach, networking, campaigns, and digital lead generation. Qualify leads, gather underwriting data, and quote policies that align with client needs while demonstrating deep industry knowledge. Deliver compelling sales proposals in person and virtually, address objections, and guide prospects toward tailored insurance solutions. Collaborate with the service team for seamless client transitions and maintain regular communication to nurture relationships and identify additional product opportunities. Manage multiple accounts with tight deadlines using the agency management system to log interactions and track win/loss outcomes. Attend community events to foster professional networks and drive new business goals.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate (or GED)
- Must have valid Property & Casualty licenses or must obtain them within 30–60 days of hire
- Ongoing compliance with continuing education requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in Property & Casualty sales, account management, or customer service within an agency or broker setting
- Proficiency in handling high-volume phone and email service inquiries, as well as policy quoting
- Trusted to handle sensitive PII/financial data
- Must have access to reliable transportation on short notice
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to maintain driver's license throughout employment
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Insurance/Risk Management, Business, or related field)
- Professional designations such as CIC/CLCS/PLCS/CISR
