Job Summary
Commercial Lines Account Manager to manage a retail book of business, build and maintain client and carrier relationships, advise on insurance options and risk management, handle client inquiries, audits, renewals, and COI/EOP templates, and provide proactive support. Requires high school diploma with preferred bachelor’s degree, active Florida 2-20 license, 2+ years of account management experience (5+ years in insurance preferred), Applied Epic experience a plus, and strong communication and multitasking skills. Office locations include Tampa, Clearwater, Melbourne, Vero Beach, and Lakeland, with remote-work options for exceptionally qualified candidates.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Active 2-20 Florida Property and Casualty license
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing a retail book of business; 5+ years insurance industry experience
- Applied Epic experience is a plus
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook; strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts with attention to detail
- In-depth knowledge of insurance products, markets, rating, and underwriting procedures
- Team player in a fast-paced environment
