Job Summary
Install commercial HVACR and kitchen equipment according to manufacturer specifications, including designing and fabricating ducts and fittings. Communicate with customers regarding repairs and status updates, while coordinating part orders with the branch and documenting tasks accurately. Maintain service vehicles, tools, and uniforms in compliance with safety policies. Work nights and weekends with extensive daily travel to work site locations, lifting up to 100 pounds and operating in high and low temperature environments.
Required Qualifications
- One to Three years of installation experience of one of the following: commercial kitchen equipment and or HVACR equipment i.e., RTUS, chillers
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screening is required
- Valid Driver's License and Driving record that aligns with our safety standards
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Ability to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing background is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance and lift equipment
- Extensive daily travel to work site location
- Occasional to frequent exertion in high and low temperature environments (over heated kitchens, rooftops, outdoors, etc.)
- Repeated bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and climbing up and down ladders
- Exposure to electrical, steam, and high heat units that require extreme caution and safety equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Contractor, journeyman, and or HVAC certification not required, but would-be a plus
