Job Summary
Install and repair commercial and industrial fencing systems, including chain link, ornamental, security, and specialty barriers. Read site plans, measure layout lines, dig post holes, set posts, pour concrete, and assemble panels and gates to company specifications. Operate hand and power tools, load materials, and collaborate with crew members to meet project timelines while interacting with clients professionally. Maintain a clean and safe job site, ensuring quality workmanship that reflects company standards. Requires valid driver's license, ability to travel regionally, and physical stamina for outdoor work in varied weather.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings, site plans, and measurements, with solid math skills for layout and leveling
- Experience using hand and power tools (e.g., post hole diggers, saws, drills, concrete mixers) and working safely with construction equipment
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials, working outdoors in varied weather, and standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer service
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to travel regionally
- High school diploma or equivalent
