Job Summary
Install commercial alarm, fire, CCTV, and card access systems, including new installations, upgrades, and additions. Perform system testing, signal verification, and customer instruction on system operation. Maintain truck stock and inventory while organizing technical resources to ensure efficient task execution. Monitor progress, complete required documentation, and obtain necessary product certifications and licenses. Travel on short notice for full-time, flexible scheduling with on-call availability, driving vehicles during day and evening shifts. Work in various environments including attics, crawl spaces, and scaffolding while adhering to local and national codes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training
- one or more years of experience
- working knowledge of commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom and access control systems
- working knowledge of local/national codes
- ability to read drawings and pull wires accordingly
- valid driver's license
- ability to clear a pre-employment drug screening
- ability to read and interpret blueprint, schematics, diagrams, policies, procedures, etc. as presented in English
- ability to obtain and retain any specific product certifications and/or licenses that are required by national, state and local codes
- 25 % to 50 % proficiency in Everon Commercial's Tier 1 product offerings
- Must be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule with 'on call availability'
- Must be able to travel on short notice
- Must be able to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods
- Must be able to lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs
