Job Summary
Install, assemble, and test plumbing systems in new commercial and industrial buildings; read blueprints and specifications to determine layout and materials; lay out, measure, cut, thread, bend, and install pipe, fittings, valves, and fixtures for water, waste, vent, and gas systems; perform pressure testing and system verification to ensure code compliance and functionality; coordinate with other trades to maintain sequencing and safety; ensure installations meet state/local codes and OSHA requirements; maintain accurate logs; support project milestones and mentor apprentices; participate in site safety meetings and maintain site cleanliness and organization. Requires strong knowledge of commercial plumbing, ability to read drawings/isometrics, experience with underground/rough-in/finish installations, understanding of hydronic and gas piping, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces; benefits include $35 hourly rate, PPE and tools provided, bonus opportunities, health/vision/dental insurance, and monthly training.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of commercial construction plumbing experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, materials, and tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, isometrics, and riser diagrams
- Experience with underground, rough-in, and finish installations
- Understanding of hydronic systems, gas piping, and backflow prevention preferred
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights or in confined spaces
