Job Summary
Commercial/Industrial Assistant Project Manager in Lewiston, Maine, responsible for supervising and managing construction activities, assisting in document control (submittals, RFIs, delivery logs), assisting in cost estimates for scope changes, updating field progress, and supporting project startup, preconstruction planning, coordination, prefab, and workface planning under supervision. Will use Viewpoint Project Management and Operations software to track and manage projects, and adhere to SEC’s contracting and operations manual. May require occasional travel or relocation. Strong communication, interpretation of drawings/specifications, leadership, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills are essential, with experience in MS Office, estimating software (e.g., Accubid), scheduling software (e.g., Primavera), and Bluebeam Revu; familiarity with Maine/NH markets preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent electrical trade and/or supervisory experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of construction experience
- Experience in Commercial, Industrial, and Renewable Energy markets
- Basic skills include MS Office suite competency, Accubid or other estimating software experience, Primavera or other scheduling software knowledge
- Maine based or knowledgeable of the Maine and NH marketplaces
