Job Summary
Commercial & Industrial Account Manager responsible for growing relationships with commercial/industrial end users and promoting medium/low voltage electrical equipment and solutions. The role entails conducting customer visits, presentations, product demonstrations, and training, coordinating quotations and order management, and working with engineering firms, electrical contractors, distributors, and manufacturer partners. Travel across ND, SD, MN, IA, and WI to support customers and projects; maintain CRM data; participate in industry events and customer meetings; drive opportunities from specification to final sale.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Engineering degree (preferred) or equivalent industry experience
- Experience in electrical sales, power distribution, automation, industrial systems, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of medium and low voltage electrical equipment
- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, power reliability solutions, automation and SCADA systems, switchgear and protective relay and controls
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to understand technical products and communicate solutions effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software
