Job Summary
Clean, adjust, and repair HVAC systems, including air handling units, ductwork, vents, and condensation drainage systems. Perform diagnostic assessments to identify mechanical, electrical, and operational issues, restoring systems to peak functionality. Provide tailored solutions to enhance system performance and energy efficiency while communicating effectively with customers to resolve concerns. Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime. Accurately complete documentation for invoices, warranty forms, and time sheets. Maintain tools, parts, and the service vehicle in a clean, organized state. Respond to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime. Stay informed about the latest HVAC technologies and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC service or installation, demonstrating a solid understanding of HVAC systems and components
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work comfortably in confined spaces while maintaining safety and efficiency
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to HVAC work, including the ability to implement and follow safety guidelines
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to pass periodic drug tests and background checks, ensuring a trustworthy and reliable professional
- Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces, driving, entering crawlspaces, pushing, carrying, pulling, using hand tools, and performing fine detail work
- Ability to drive
- Working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, attics, crawlspaces
- Ability to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone
- Use hands to handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms
- Regularly stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch
- Regular exposure to extreme temperatures both indoors and outdoors, such as heat or cold, and adverse weather conditions such as wind, rain, ice or snow
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC Commercial experience preferred but not required
- Service Titan experience is a plus
