Job Summary
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems at assigned client facilities. Independently diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues, prioritize service calls, and identify equipment deficiencies while maintaining safe, reliable, and high-quality service. Work with customers and team members to ensure facility operations and mentor apprentices to share technical knowledge. Requires advanced HVAC-R diagnostic skills, strong electrical and mechanical understanding, and effective communication abilities. ABM is a military and veteran friendly employer.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced HVAC-R troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
- Working knowledge of commercial HVAC controls and building automation
- Ability to prioritize service calls and make sound technical decisions in the field
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and equipment reliability
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Professional customer-service orientation
- Ability to mentor apprentices and share technical knowledge with other team members
