Job Summary
HVAC Technician responsible for installing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and related systems. Travel to client sites for job duties and perform repairs and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment. Read and interpret schematics/blueprints; inspect and maintain HVAC systems, test electrical circuits, clean ducts, replace components, and manage BAS (Building Automation Systems) when needed. Requires high school or technical/vocational training; EPA license preferred or ability to obtain; valid driver’s license; ability to communicate with customers and coordinate with travel. Compensation ranges from $31.45 to $37.00 per hour; benefits described by employer; location in Pensacola, FL with on-site work and travel to client sites.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school or technical/vocational school training
- Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience or may have 0 years of experience plus an associate’s degree, or additional training, or certification
- EPA License or ability to obtain EPA License is preferred
- Valid driver’s license is required
