Job Summary
Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including diagnosing issues to the electronic control board level. Replace faulty breakers, controls, thermostats, switches, fuses, and wiring while repairing motors, compressors, pumps, fans, and blowers. Record and track pressure, temperature, airflow, and humidity data, ensuring adherence to safety standards and current certifications. Work on refrigeration and water systems, with experience in these areas a plus. This role requires EPA Certification for refrigerant handling and a minimum of 4 years of experience servicing industrial HVAC systems. Candidates must be able to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and instructions, and possess strong diagnostic abilities under pressure. A valid driver's license with a clean record is required to operate the company vehicle. Availability for on-call, after-hours, and weekend work is necessary.
Required Qualifications
- EPA Certification for refrigerant handling
- Minimum 4 years of experience servicing industrial HVAC systems
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and instructions
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities under pressure
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Availability to work on-call, after-hours, and weekends as needed
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and professionally
- Stand/walk up to 8 hours daily
- Lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds and carry short distances
- Stoop, crawl, crouch, twist, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces
- Climb ladders and work on rooftops or above ceilings
- Work in outdoor environments year-round
