Job Summary
Senior Commercial HVAC Technician responsible for diagnosing, repairing, commissioning, and optimizing complex commercial HVAC systems including RTUs, chillers, boilers, VAV, and BAS. May serve as technical lead on jobsites and mentor junior technicians and apprentices. Requires advanced troubleshooting of electrical systems, motors, VFDs, relays, control boards, refrigeration equipment, and reading blueprints/diagrams. Performs preventive maintenance, ensures OSHA/EPA compliance, completes service documentation, and communicates repair recommendations and estimates to property managers and facility directors. Demonstrates leadership in field operations, strong customer service, and dedication to safety and high-quality workmanship.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- EPA Universal Certification
- State HVAC license or equivalent (where required by jurisdiction)
- 7+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
